About Two Sisters Rugs | Vintage Rug Shop

Hi, I'm Courtney, own of Two Sisters Rugs. I get asked frequently how Two Sisters Rugs got started and so I'm here to share our story. I started this small rug shop with my sister Kendra in 2020. Kendra and I were living states away, both working as nurses, and we wanted something to bring us together. I had collected vintage rugs for years and one day she called me with the idea that we should curate and sell our own vintage rugs. I loved the idea! We quickly got to work building Two Sisters Rugs and never looked back. In 2021, our family had the opportunity to move closer to my sister and her family in Colorado. We ended up buying the house across the street from her. Kendra decided to step away from the business in 2021 to spend more time with her growing family. So although she is no longer with the business, we still have each other.

  

When Kendra decided to step away I took over full time and took a break from nursing. It has been the most amazing journey owning my own business and getting to fulfill my creative side. I have always loved interiors and so this business is very fitting. I find a lot of joy in working with customers to find perfect fits, offering up ideas, and watching designs come to life.
